PriceA 2 hour private surf lesson in Scotland is perfect for any ability level. Whether your a total beginner or wanting to improve turning along green waves. It can be arranged for any time (however we try to have it at the best time for the conditions). Available at Dunnet beach near Thurso and Balnakeil beach in Durness.
We make this Highlands surfing course exclusive to you and our experienced coaches personalise the lesson for your needs, whether that\’s having some fun or taking your surfing to the next level :). Our lessons are some of the best in the country with top quality equipment, instruction, location- and a guaranteed good time.
We will provide the surfboards and warm 5mm wetsuits however if you have your own your welcome to bring it!
Our lessons are available at Dunnet beach near Thurso and Balnakeil beach in Durness. They are long sandy bays that pick up all the north sea swells. It's the perfect place to learn or improve how to surf with the long peeling waves this beach can offer.
Please arrive 15 mins before the lesson start time. We will get suited up with warm wetsuits (and boots and gloves if required) before heading down to the beach. We will teach you everything you need to know about safety, board design, how to catch waves and of course how to pop up.
If you are more experienced we will see what level you are at and take it form there. We will then jump in the water and offer plenty of time to practice yourself. Our experienced coaches will be close by, giving specific tips on how to keep improving and making sure your having an amazing time.
At the end of the 2 hour private surf lesson in Scotland, we will return to the beach carpark and get dried and changed again- we recommend bringing warm clothes and some water for after the surf!
