Run by BKSA qualified instructors, the 1 day Dorset introductory kitesurfing course at Portland Harbour covers the first steps to help you become a kitesurfer.
Kitesurfing is an eye-catching sport that has redefined how water sports are learnt today, proving that tuition not only accelerates the learning process, but ensures you learn in a safe manner for both yourself and other water users.
Our 1 day Dorset introductory kitesurfing course at Portland Harbour is provided by qualified BKSA instructors, with the water sessions based from a RIB, well downwind of other users.
This not only gives you peace of mind that you won’t be getting in other people’s way, it also enables you to concentrate fully on the task in hand without any distractions.
Tuition ratios are kept to an absolute minimum to ensure you have the instructor’s undivided attention.
Our 1 day Dorset introductory kitesurfing course at Portland Harbour is run by BKSA qualified instructors. The course is tailored to help you take those first steps into the exciting world of kitesurfing. It includes a two hour land-based powerkite flying session, which is done locally, nearby the centre, before a lunch break.
In the afternoon, we take your newfound skills and knowledge, and head onto the water. We provide a three hour introduction into kitesurfing, focussing on body dragging, power generation, one-handed flying and deep water pack downs.
Lessons are structured around a 2:1 student-instructor ratio. If the lesson is one-to-one, there is a £100.00 supplement fee. All equipment is included in the course prices.
Once you have completed the Introductory Course, a sensible next step is to book a number of Progression Sessions.
