Wild Adventures Melbourne

Wild Adventures Melbourne (WAM!) offer multi-activity adventures in incredible nature around the Mornington Peninsula & Melbourne

Since launching in late 2020,  Wild Adventures Melbourne (WAM)! has established itself as a unique multi-activity adventure company offering ‘action & relaxing’ packed nature and wildlife themed experiences. Part of WAM!’s purpose is to go beyond sustainability and give back to the environment and community as an ethical progressive operator.

Based on the Mornington Peninsula, WAM! connects small groups of up to 10 people with spectacular nature on people powered activities like Stand Up Paddleboarding, Mountain Biking and Bushwalking combined with wildlife viewing, fascinating stories and indulgence at sustainably conscious cafes, wineries, breweries/distilleries and hot springs. All whilst trying to have the most positive environmental impact possible.

From October to April WAM! offers their renowned warmer weather adventures: Peninsula Paddle, Pinot & Pools is a full day ultimate adventure taking in the very best aspects the Mornington Peninsula is famous for including ocean paddleboarding lesson and tour, organic winery picnic lunch, coastal bushwalking and bathing at the Peninsula Hot Springs.

Wild Melbourne Sunrise Wildlife Adventure is a dawn expedition in the wilderness close to Melbourne’s CBD including an inland waterway paddleboarding lesson and tour where you sometimes spot platypus, mountain biking nature trails viewing wombats and kangaroos, followed by a healthy and hearty breakfast at a local café and a scenic drive back to Melbourne.

The WAM! cooler weather adventures are specifically designed to support inspiring environmental and community causes here on the Mornington Peninsula.

Hot Springs, Hikes & Humpbacks is a fully guided experience which is the perfect blend of active relaxation combining hot springs, whale watching, and a special Indigenous ingredient inspired picnic lunch from our friends at Cooee Cafe. Spend the morning bathing surrounded by nature in some of the world’s best thermal hot springs. Warm up your mind and body with hot springs yoga class led by a Peninsula Hot Springs instructor to feel rejuvenated. Your journey continues with bushwalking along the balcony of the Southern Ocean which is one of the best spots to see whales making their annual migration, stopping for an Indigenous inspired packed lunch along the way to try fresh local produce infused with native ingredients.

The Wonga Biking Trails to Ales adventure is a self-guided fully supported adventure which takes guests on a magnificent journey through Arthurs Seat (known as Wonga to the Boon Wurrung people). Beginning by the crystal clear waters of Port Phillip Bay, soaring to the summit of the Peninsula on Arthurs Seat Eagle which gives special access to mountain bikes, followed by riding down the exhilarating bike trails within the native forests of Arthurs Seat National Park leading all the way down to a treasure trove of world class craft breweries and distilleries in Dromana for included tastings (the guests can choose which venue they would like to do the tastings at).
