SkydiveBC offer Skydiving courses available in Northern BC and the Yukon Canada
SkydiveBC North has been holding First Parachute Jump courses in Northern B.C. since 1986, and the Yukon since 1994. The combined total skydiving experience of our staff is over 100 years. Since the beginning the school has Manifested over 16,000 jumpers.
SkydiveBC North is affiliated with the Canadian Sport Parachuting Association who provides training, and certification for it’s Instructors and Coaches in conjunction with the Canadian National Coaching Association’s National Coaching Certification Program. The Canadian Sport Parachuting Association also provides insurance, and other services to it’s affiliated members.
Flight operations at SkydiveBC North are conducted by Guardian Aerospace under the aspics of their Commercial Air Operators Certificate issued by Transport Canada. All our pilots are all commercially licensed with Transport Canada.
Guardian Aerospace’s Aircraft Maintenance Program is conducted under commercial specifications as required by the Airworthiness branch of Transport Canada. Skydivebc North uses only state of the art parachute systems. All main parachutes are inspected during every pack job to ensure airworthiness.
All of our student harness and container systems are equipped with automatic reserve parachute activation systems that will activate the reserve parachute automatically if you are still in freefall below 1200 feet Our reserve parachutes are inspected and repacked every 180 days by a FAI Certified Parachute Rigger.
Although our base of operations is in Beaverly just 20 km. west of Prince George, we also conduct courses all over the Northern half of British Columbia, Alberta and the Yukon. We hold courses annually in Smithers, Fort St. John, Fort Nelson, Grand Prairie Alberta and Carcross Yukon Territory. Our jumping season starts as early as April and lasts well into November depending mostly on the weather.
