Picos Rock & Snow is a small, family-run company and has been running ski touring, splitboarding and snowshoeing holidays in the Picos de Europa mountain range in northern Spain for over 30 years. This means we know the area intimately and can take you where the snow conditions are best on any given day.
Using our own accommodation means we can keep our prices down, and if you’d like a night or more in mountain refuges, we can arrange that too.
We are based near Potes, a market town in Liébana, Cantabria, within easy reach of the central and eastern massifs of the Picos de Europa as well as two mountain passes for accessing the Cantabrian mountain range.
The original Picos de Europa National Park is the oldest in Spain and is also now a Unesco Biosphere Reserve. There are still European brown bears and Iberian wolves roaming here and many species of eagle and vulture patrolling the skies. As such we keep our environmental footprint to a minimum and are proud that our small group mountain activities are inherently of very little environmental impact.
