The Lanzarote self-catering apartments are based on a small complex in Puerto del Carmen Old Town. They are within 10 minutes walk of Playa Chica, a quiet attractive beach with its own restaurant/bar and cafe. Nearby you will also find a host of watersports and other activities.
The Old Town Harbour is five minutes walk away and has restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and budgets. Or walk to the main strip (about 15 – 20 minutes) where you will find an enormous choice of bars and restaurants, plus more beaches.
Alternatively, get away from it all by taking the cliff top walk from the old town to the neighbouring harbour of Puerto Calero (takes under an hour) where you can enjoy a drink or a meal before walking back – or you can take the regular water taxi (€12 approx) back to the old town. Customers can get a glimpse into the sea through its glass bottom.

DIVING: Puerto del Carmen itself is a haven for both experienced and beginner scuba divers but there are many other dive sites around the island.
SNORKELING: Lanzarote has been labelled ‘one of the best places on the planet for snorkelling’. The water off the numerous beaches is clear, warm, and full of interesting sea life.
WINDSURFING & SURFING: There are plenty of beaches to choose from. It\’s best to have a hire car to get to them.
GOLF: Lanzarote has two well maintained 18-hole courses – Lanzarote Golf (five minutes from Puerto del Carmen) and Costa Teguise Golf which is located in the foothills of an ancient volcano and has great views over the Atlantic Ocean.
CYCLING AND E-BIKING: Cyclists return year after year to experience the many routes around the island which include plenty of flat and undulating roads and there are also various climbs for those who like s bit more of a challenge.
There are many other sporting attractions on Lanzarote but of course it is also simply a great place for a relaxing holiday.
