So, let me introduce myself.
I’m Dorji, and I am the founder of Bhutan Gateway.
Growing up in an underdeveloped country,
There was only little to know about the outside world.
But just the thought of there being something outside intrigued me.
I wanted to visit different places.
Back then, I was 15, and that was my dream.
And soon I went on to finish high school and then college.
That’s when the reality of life struck me.
It hit hard.
My work kept me busy all day long.
I was always tired by the time I got home.
One day, during my break, I saw a travel magazine.
There I saw the pictures of places that I always wanted to visit.
That’s when I thought..
“What’s the point of working, if I can’t do what I want?”
It took me years to realize it, but I knew it wasn’t late.
And here I am now,
I’ve traveled to almost every state in the US, Philippines, Thailand, India, and more…
So,
If you are a blogger, YouTuber, photographer, explorer, a Buddhist, or anything you should definitely come to Bhutan.
