Arc 1950, in the French Alps, is the newest of the Les Arcs villages, offering an incredible, family friendly ski in-out village. In the summer the car free resort is great for hiking and biking.
THE SKIING
The resort of Arc 1950 le Village is situated right in the heart of Paradiski, the 2nd largest ski area in the world which includes the linked areas of Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry and La Plagne – snow is virtually guaranteed all season long – 425km of slopes from the Aiguille Rouge at 3226m to Villaroger at 1200m. Stay connected via one of the 60 WIFI spots around the ski area and book in for ski lessons via Spirit 1950 or ESF Arc 1950. Not just for skiing, book in for snow shoeing, husky rides, heli-rides, speed-riding or try the 3km Rodeo Park Toboggan run.
THE SUMMER
Discover Les Arcs in summer! ARC 1950 offers numerous activities and has eight 5-star hotel residences for comfortable mountain holidays. They are equipped with wellness areas with sauna, hammam, swimming pool, etc. The area is good for hiking with 200 km of marked trails but also, 149 km of mountain bike routes! This luxury resort has a large 1,000 m² spa in addition to the swimming pools and wellness areas in each residence.
CHILDREN COME FIRST
Arc 1950 is ideal for families; events all week, car free, snow in the village for building snowmen, tobogganing and playing in; The Caribou Club offers childcare from 9 months to 13 years, teens can join the ‘Backcountry Camp’ learning off piste awareness, avalanche transceiver use, snowpark tricks and more.
WELL BEING
Each of the eight ski in/out residences in Arc 1950 have free facilities for relaxation: indoor and outdoor swimming pools, Jacuzzis and Turkish baths as well as fitness rooms with the latest equipment. In addition, the 1000m2 luxurious Deep Nature Spa, with its heated pools and spacious treatment rooms with double-width glass windows, show incredible views to Mont Blanc. NEW are two outdoor Nordic baths and a range of ‘Deep Nature’ skin care products.
CAR FREE
Arc 1950 IS car free – guests arriving by car park underground leaving the village safe for skiers, families, walkers etc all to enjoy at their leisure. Just watch out for skiers, beginners learn to ski in the village and guests ski back to their doors via calling in at one of the 30 village shops, true ski in/shop in and out! Access by train to Bourg Saint Maurice and funicular to 1600, by plane via Geneva, Chambery, Grenoble or Lyon, heli-pad is 200m from the village. A free shuttle bus connects all the Arc villages.
