African Heart Expeditions Ltd is a class “A” licensed safari operator, managed by a European and Tanzanian team. The company was founded in 1999; our headquarters is in Arusha. We are committed to providing you the opportunity to experience Africa, where you can get back to nature, back to yourself. All our safaris, trekking or beach holidays are uniquely designed to accommodate your specific needs and desires.

Whether you want to spend your holidays experiencing a safari, set up an ornithological project, study wild dogs in the Serengeti, or make a movie about the Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano, we are here to take care of all the logistics to make your expedition a success.

We use 4wd Toyota Land Cruisers with open roof, providing the best conditions for sighting wildlife during the safari. For this very reason we avoid the use of mini-busses. Our vehicles and camping equipment are kept in prime condition and regularly serviced. We organize all our safaris, Kilimanjaro climbs and cultural trekking ourselves. Only some specialty safaris, such as balloon or horseback safari, are referred to outside companies.

Our drivers have been trained as guides and are knowledgeable about animals and plants. In addition, our cooks are carefully selected and prepare satisfying and delicious meals on camping safaris.
African Heart Expeditions, LTD is registered with the Tanzanian Tourist Agents Licensing Authority and is also an accredited member of the Tanzanian Association of Tour Operators (TATO).
