The spacious Penthouse boasts a stunning panoramic views across the Tarentaise Valley which you can enjoy through the large full length floor to ceiling picture windows or out on the balcony these open out to. Indoors there’s a huge open-plan lounge and dining room with plenty of comfortable, stylish seating centred around a feature fireplace, and six large 3 doubles & 3 twin) bedrooms, all en-suite sleeping 12-14 people. You can relax and enjoy a glass of wine while the sun sets over the mountains
The Penthouse is located approximately 200 metres from the main Les Eurcherts Express chairlift, ESF Ski school meeting point and the piste. Les Eurcherts has its own bustling centre with shops, bars, restaurants, a bowling alley, ice rink and ski school.La Rosiere centre is a short free bus ride away or a pleasant stroll along a pretty forest track, which is well lit in the evenings.

This attractive French resort is situated on a sunny plateau high above the Tarentaise Valley with spectacular panoramic views all the way down the Valley towards La Plagne and Les Arc. The Espace San Bernado straddles the border between France and Italy so you can ski across the border for lunch and be back for afternoon tea which is quite awesome we must say.
La Rosiere offers excellent value for money with a reasonably priced ski school, equipment hire shops and apres ski activities that are all just a couple of hundred metres from our ski chalets in La Rosiere; it's hardly surprising that many of our guests return here year after year. The resort caters for all abilities and the wide open uncrowded pistes in La Rosiere are perfect for enjoying the scenery and sunshine. To practice your turns, once you have found your ski legs, you can tackle the challenging Italian slopes with the majestic Mont Blanc as your backdrop.
Skiing in La Rosiere
Described in the Where to Ski and Snowboard Guide as the sunniest slopes in the Tarentaise, but also the snowiest. La Rosiere is known for its great snow conditions with uncrowded pistes and is a true gem of a village resort. La Rosiere is linked to the Italian Resort of La Thuile forming the Espace San Bernardo ski area. The vast majority of the skiing is above 1850m, ensuring great snow conditions, with the highest on-piste skiing at 2640m. It has lovely wide, gentle pistes with a good mixture of blues and reds for beginners and intermediates. There are also a couple of snow parks, along with challenging blacks for the expert skiers and the opportunity to try heli-skiing in Italy.
With wide open slopes near the top giving way to attractive tree runs closer to resort, La Rosiere has been awarded 'Famille Plus Montagne' status by the French authorities which recognises its efforts to be truly family-friendly with its easily-accessible nursery slopes close to the main village of La Rosiere 1850 and Les Eucherts. Intermediate blue and red runs, 15 blacks and 2 snow parks mean it can also cater for every taste and ability. The most testing ski area is the Touraisse sector, which also has some of the best off-piste. La Rosiere is the only place in France where experts can legally heli-ski across the border into Italy down to La Thuile. Snowboarders are well served with great off-piste runs and open powder fields.
Apres Ski
Les Eucherts has its own bustling centre with shops, bars, restaurants, a bowling alley, ice rink and Ski School. La Rosiere main centre is a short free bus ride away or a pleasant stroll along a pretty forest track but you do not really need to go there during your holiday as there are great restaurants in the Les Eucherts area including Le Flocon and Les Granges.
There are a few bars in Les Eucherts near our chalets,allowing you to unwind after a long day in the mountains. For additional Apres-ski and nightlife there is a free minibus service from Les Eucherts to the main part of La Rosiere 1850 until 11pm. To top that off, the resort has a weekly firework display and torch lit descent which should not be missed.
